Waste management approaches for net zero.
Suviti's research focuses on thermochemical routes for difficult waste streams, including waste-to-hydrogen, waste-to-energy with carbon capture and storage, and chemical recycling pathways for mixed plastic waste.
The work is not lab based. It sits at the point where process design, environmental assessment, datasets, system boundaries, and policy choices shape the story a technology can tell about climate and resource benefits.
Her methodological interests include ISO-aligned life cycle assessment, sensitivity analysis, allocation choices, functional units, system boundaries, future energy scenarios, and the interpretation of trade-offs across impact categories.
This gives collaborators and students a practical way to ask not only whether a system appears low carbon, but what assumptions make that conclusion hold.
